About Me

MY NAME IS JERRY

I started working on things when I was about 8 years old. I used to always try to fix my own and everybody else stuff that I discovered broken. I always work with my father around the house. He would always have me to hand him the tools out the toolbox and to hold the flashlight for him. We worked on everything around the house that was broken. I will never forget when I made a mistake and drove my remote-control car my father bought me for Christmas into a puddle of water. That remote control car was the first thing I ever repaired. I started repairing car amplifier and car audio equipment. My mother would always let me install things in her car. Thereafter i started installing for other people I knew. I had a friend I grew up with and his father use to work on TVs at Sharp. So when I ever had a problem, I would call him. I used to call him so much to fix things for me until he started telling me how to check for certain things in the power supply like diodes, capacitors and transistor. I was very curious and wanted to know more. I was young so he encourage me to buy a few books so I went out and bought a few books from Radio Shack on how to use a meter and to check for simple voltages and to check small appliances. I learn the resistors color code chart when I was 12 years old. I love to repair a circuit board at component level rather than swapping out boards. I knew electronics was the career for me, so I went to school and earn a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology.
